Alternating sleep habits?

Just curious if others are in a similar boat. Up until a few days ago, my DD was a GREAT napper and not very fussy. DS, on the otherhand, needed much more help falling asleep (for naps and bedtime), and was taking very short naps, if any. Within the past day or so, DS is now a ROCKSTAR napper (yeah!) but now DD is fussing up a storm and will only nap for short periods. It seems since birth, they have flip-flopped in who is the fussier/better sleeper baby. In a way, I guess I'm lucky since I only have to worry about one fussy baby at a time... but just when I think I'm in the clear, getting the fussy one to start napping/sleeping better, the other starts having issues!! LOL!!! Just curious if others are in the same boat... and if we'll level off eventually with BOTH being good nappers!!

I feel like this has been happening to us since they were born! Even now, one is having a good day, the other isn't. However, there are still many days that are wonderful and I love and appreciate those days! Hang in there!

Mine are famous for flip flopping! Sometimes I think it is plot to make sure that me and DH are paying attention!

Yep, it always seems like one or the other is sleeping better at any given time. I've often said it's a conspiracy between them to keep me from getting anything done around here!

Yep definately in the same boat here! If it is not one up in the night it's the other lol I am sure they are laughing at me!!! I have often wondered how i would cope if they were both at it and this last 2 days i have been able to find out, they are not even taking it in turns now boohoo

I am definitely in the same boat!!! They always seem to be flip flopping on their sleep habits and I wonder if I'LL ever get sleep!! :) We're at almost 8 months and napping is starting to get better but they still have their days.

Ditto! We are in the same boat! I remember reading in one of the twin books that the author said her and her husband swore their twins took turns. I guess it is better than having them both messing with us at the same time! LOL
