Almost time to say goodbye FY...

I can't believe that in less than 10 days we will have toddlers and survived the first year with all of our hair still on our heads! It's been a rough start both with the twins and on this forum...lol. :woo:

A friend of ours is a photographer and she took some photos for us to use on their invitations & announcement cards. The boys were 10 months old when the photos were taken and I bought onesies that said "good twin" "evil twin" since 1 of them always seems to instigate the trouble making while the other one waits to see our reaction before joining in on the destruction. Here are a couple of the pics...

We have the party scheduled for next weekend, the day after their birthday, with little baby pools, sprinklers, food and good friends and we can't wait! The boys are taking more and more full steps everyday and are learning more sounds everyday and just continually amazing me every time I look into their eyes. I love them more and more each day and still, after 1 full year, cannot believe that after trying to conceive for 2 years and giving up to finally getting a surprise pregnancy when we weren't expecting it AND finding out that we were having twins (which was total shock since no one in our families have multiples). It's all been so amazing and anytime I feel fat I just say to myself "you have TWINS give yourself a break, you look damn good for having carried TWO babies at once"...lol. :laughing:

I've asked for a lot of help with various things and I just wanted to say thank you all for your advice, for your suggestions and for your support. It truly means a lot and it's because of this forum that I've met some amazing Mom's and made great, life long friends that understand what it's like to raise multiples. :thanks:

So with that I will say goodbye to the first year and hello toddler years!! I look forward to everything you have in store for us!

Slow down momma, they aren't 1 just yet Are you in a hurry to leave here or what? :lol: River and Alexander are SO darn cute! And the party invitation and announcements look great!! You are much more "with it" than I was when I planned our boys first bday party. I barely got cheesy generic fill-in-the-blank invitations in the mail 5 days before the party. I hated those invitations, but I'm not creative enough to come up with something like what you did. Those should definitely go in their baby books!

Thanks for the compliments on the invites and for saying that the boys are cute. I look at them everyday in amazement! And I'm only "with it" with the invites everything else is last minute. I have to clean and I mean clean, the house and get the groceries and clean up the backyard all before next weekend. So I'm not really on the ball.
