One of our boys weighs almost 15lbs at 3 months. He's about 23inches long. DH and I are both on the larger side-me 6', dh 6'4.
He eats about 3.5oz a meal every 2-3hrs. He doesn't seem 'fat'...just a big kid-big head and all.

He looks just like my dh except he has blond hair and blue eyes!

    What do you think?

Ps-our other son weighs about 12.5 and has much smaller features he's about 22 1/4 inches.

    thanks!

I was checking my siggy to compare to my Eli who once was a chubby chubster. He was 13lbs at 3 months, and 15lbs. 13oz. at 4 months. At 4 months, I believe he was in the 90th percentile on weight. So my guess is that at 15 lbs at three months; he's at the top of the chart!! He's a big boy :)

My son is 3.5 months and a little over 13 lbs - BUT he was 2 months early!! So, his adjusted age is only 1.5 months, so doens't sound too big to me. My son isn't fat either, just big. His sister is teeny, only 10.5lbs.

Hello. I have twin boys that are 10 1/2 weeks old. They are both almost 15 lbs. now! My pediatrician told me that their sizes are completely within normal ranges. It sounds like you are very conscientious in feeding them and are doing a great job! Mine boys were 5 and 6 lbs. at birth - 37 weeks. Congrats.

Ben was 20 pounds at four months, so yep...sounds like a big boy. He was always much bigger than his sis!

My twins were in the 15lbs range (upper end I think) and my oldest was 16lbs10oz at 4 months ... mine are always above average, my girl 95%. My twins are now 50-75%.

One of my twins is larger than the other-at 4 months, Jackson was 19lbs, 4 oz and Luke was 14lbs, 10 oz. Since then, Jackson had become more active and he loves his jumperoo. He is just a big kid and perfectly healthy!

At his 2 month checkup, Caleb was 14 lb, 5 oz today, so I wouldn't worry, sounds normal.
