has got me thinking. I don't have a set schedule for naps. THey usually are awake and playing for about 2 hours then they crash for about an hour, then they eat and play for another 2 hours. I don't make them take naps, I just let them fall asleep playing. Then at night, I just wait unitl they get sleepy around bedtime and then I move them to their crib. This way we don't have to fight them. They are sleeping about 10 hours all the way through the night.

Is this bad? Should I be doing something different?

Jennifer, I think whatever works best for you is what you should do. I have spent a lot of time trying to conform to what other people have been doing but it just messes things up more.

You are doing a great job! As the saying "If ain't broken, don't fix it!" Stick with it! [IMG]

I agree with Sarah, If you are all happy and it's working, then that's great! I used to babysit a 2 yr old little boy who fell asleep and took his nap wherever he happened to be (like the toy box) and he was the most pleasant boy to watch.

I agree - if it's working for you and everyone is happy, then go with it. My naps around here are anything but schedualed either. They happen when they happen and everything is just fine [IMG]

I just wondered if there was something fundamental they were missing out on by doing it this way.
