All babies are a blessing

I just want all of you expecting mommies of twins to know what you are about to have happen to you!!!! I just cannot tell you enough how incredible having twins has been!!! yeah - there have been some rough spots, sleeping which you ladies are already having trouble with, is not the best!! shopping is easier done on line (but who needs easy?). and going out to eat well only if I am feeling brave. OH and my shirt is always covered in cookie or spit (on both shoulders! lol!)...but let me tell you watching these 2 as they grow up together has been the most awesome thing EVER getting to know their personalities which are as different as night and day has been priceless!!! I know pregnancy is full of worries and uncomfortablenesses but just wait .... til you can kiss those sweet toothless little mouths!! every baby is a blessing don't get me wrong (I have 3 older singletons) but having twins oh my goodness!!! You ladies just wait! I am so excited for each one of you and wish you the most wonderful pregnancies and easy deliveries!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

She is soo right! It is just fun. It's fun to watch them do things at different times. It's the best thing to put two crabby babies to bed and then hear them laughing and giggling in their beds together before falling asleep. It's so sweet to see them trying to comfort each other when the other one is sad. It's even fun to see them figure it out when they both want the same toy. It's an amazing journey to see them grow, and to love every piece of their babyhood!

THank you for your words of encouragement - it's sometimes too easy to get caught up the daily discomforts of twin pregnancy. I am really looking forward to meeting my boys too!

For me, being pregnant with twins was harder than having them. They are sooo much fun, the best!!

I cant wait! I especially cant wait to see if they will look like my boys; will they be bald, lots of hair Im scared no doubt but really anxious to have them here

It really is too much fun for words. There are some things that aren't the best, but those are few and far between. I would happily have another set of twins if I could!

 

Very well said! After having a singleton first and then having several losses, I know just how true this is! ALL babies are truly such special little gifts! And, yes, twins are hard work but OH so FUN!
