This is so cute! Ainsley will give someone something, like give Bea a toy, and then Ainsley signs Thank You. She does the sign backwards like a lot of the kids on Signing Time do, like she's hitting her chin. She's almost got the idea!

    That's so sweet!

Mine are saying "thank you" all of the time now too and I think it's very cute. One will give something to the other and they both say "thank you" in unison. It cracks me up.

mine say thank you and you're welcome. even if they are the ones saying thank you they also say you're welcome. i never have to say you're welcome any more. they say it for me. :p

What polite children we all have!! Well, only one of mine... Chloe says "dats" when you give her something. I thought I was good about saying 'thank you' as opposed to 'thanks' but I guess not as she has picked up on the short version.

Hee, for a long time mine said "thank you" when they got something, too. And now they do also say "welcome" right after they say "thank you."

But by far my favorite "polite" thing they say is, "scoo me" when they burp or fart. It is tooo cute, especially because a lot of the time they will put their hand up on their chest when they say it, and sometimes they whisper "Gas!" right after they say it. :1luvyu: Now we just need to work on getting them to not burp or fart. Baby steps...

I love that Ainsley says thank you when she is the one who gave Bea something. :D

I am working on that with Amy & Sarah too -- I just got the daycare teacher to teach me the "thank you" sign. Sarah is always giving things to Amy (not so much the other way around, although sometimes) and I want Amy to learn to say thank you. Right now she just accepts whatever Sarah gives her as if it is her due.

That's so cute. Matthew will sign "Thank you" but says "Ah-knee". I have no idea wher ehe got that from, but at least he's being polite. William doesn't say anything yet

I know, Bea's really the one that needs to be saying Thank You. Ainsley gives up everything so easily. But it's so cute the way she just gives something and then signs Thank you and walks away. I'm also working on getting Bea to *ask* for something instead of screaming "Beeeeeeee!!!!" when she thinks an object is hers.
