Ainsley ripped a hole in her crib tent, at the seam above the zipper. Arrgggh. So annoyed. Now she's slowly making it bigger and throwing things out. Has this happened to anyone else? Should I call the manufacturer and complain?

    Hello
I have had the same thing happen a few times now. All you have to do is email or call the company that makes them and they will send you a new one (You keep the poles, they send a new netting) All they want you to do is send them the ripped one back so you only have to pay shipping to send it back. I have done it about 4-5 times now because my boys beat their tents up!

Um.... yeah... T&T once climbed up the outside of the crib and onto the tent and it popped down (picture the dome installed upside down). Nothing broke but they thought it was hilarious and I had a heck of a time popping it back up). After that, it was a huge challenge to keep them off of the thing and we have had several rips. I've just patched them up with a needle and thread and the repaired places have held.

That is really good to know. I've seen several posts about kids ripping their crib tents and I didn't realize you could get them replaced without buying a new one! They don't seem very sturdy for what they cost, though I guess it's probably hard to make something that is flexible and also unrippable.

Wow! I had no idea they would replace the tents!! I posted about this w/in the last month. Our boys destroyed their tents by tearing the nylon on the end all the way across. My friend was able to repair them for me but now they both have growing holes in the mesh on the front.
Hopefully you can get your replaced at a minimal cost! Good luck!!
