Well last week I was begging my doctor to set an induction date because I was sooooooo uncomfortable. He told me we would discuss it at my appointment on Tuesday.

Well on Monday I was tired of hanging out at home so we went out to dinner at TGI Fridays. Then to the mall. He hasn't been with me when I bought any of the clothes and I think he was getting excited and wanted to get them something that he was there to buy.

So Monday night I had trouble sleeping and was up to go to the bathroom every 10-15 mins. I usually get up 3-4 times normally. My husband is delivering papers as a second job for extra money. He gets up at 3am to do the papers. At about 10 till 3 I got up to go to the bathroom yet again. I laid back down and somewhere between 3 and 3:15 I felt like what you would imagine some popping a balloon of water inside you would feel like. I felt a slight trickle and jumped out of bed. Well the damn let loose. I said oh my god, My water just broke. My DH said are you sure? You didn't pee your self? I said if I just peed this bad after being in the bathroom 10 mins ago I have real problems.

So off to labor and delivery. I got there still having no contractions at all. They hooked me up to the monitors and started a IV of saline. Then the contractions started and were getting strong. I got my epidoral and the contractions slowed down and I was still at 3 1/2 centimeters where I was when I got there. So they started me on Pitocin. I was just waiting to fully dilate. I went from 6-10 centimeters between 10:30 and 10:50. Then it was off to the OR. (The hospital I went to always delivers twins in the C-Section room incase of problem.)

In the OR they spent more time getting set up than it took for me to get them out. At 11:05 Aerianna Mackenzie came out screaming and weighing 5lbs 10ozs. Then the doctor said the other babies heart rate was dropping slightly and I needed to push as hard as I could. I pushed 3 times more and with the help of a vacum Aidan Patrick was born at 11:10 also screaming and weighed in at 5 lbs 4 ozs.

They needed no NICU time they stayed with me in my room and we all came home on Thursday. They are a slight bit jaudice so the pediatrician is keeping an eye on that but other than that they are doing extremely well and keeping me busy.
