OMGosh, I FINALLY called the OB today to ask if it was ok for me to get something other than tums and maalox b/c I was seriously DYING from the acid burning in my throat all of the time. It was making me gag in the middle of the night and it was just constant not mater what I did. It started about 2-3 weeks ago and I couldn't stand it anymore.

She told me to go ahead and get the Zantac. Wow, I took one and ate dinner and a snack with EASE!!!! I haven't felt this good in the past few weeks. I hope it continues to work!!

Isn't it a miracle drug? My Dr. put me on 175mg a few weeks ago because I had begun vomiting every morning again. He suspected acid reflux. I took it for 5 days and the vomiting stopped!

Hope it continues to help for you! FYI, he had me buy the Walgreens generic brand and just take 2 pills since regular Zantac is so expensive.

My friend just recomended Zantac to me, said she LOVED it while pregnant. My heartburn isnt to that point but its coming pretty regularly but I will remember it if it gets to that point. I am glad you are finally getting some relief!!!

Same here! The Zantac 150 became available right before my third trimester with the girls and it was the only thing that got me through. I keep a pack in my purse at all times now b/c my heartburn/reflux has been acting up for over a month now.
