After the Britax Roundabout?

    We have the Britax Roundabout car seats and really like them. I know the recommended weight limit is 40 lbs. Although my girls are 50% and 5% in weight they are a little over 3 ft tall and one is nearing the weight limit. I was wondering what people purchased after outgrowing this seat....

    Also, we have a Toyota Sienna and if the girls don't climb into the seat I have to be very careful not to bang their head on anything trying to lift them high enough and with some momentum to get into the seat. I was wondering if the Britax Marathon or the Britax Boosters are lower?

    I haven't yet researched into booster seats so any information is valued. I have seen some seats that look only like a seat with arms but I have heard those are not nearly as comfortable and we go on quite a few road trips to see relatives.

    We have the Sunshine Kids Radian 65 carseat and they're great. They are 5pt and go to 65 lbs. They also have an 80 lb version. They're low to the seat and the seat folds so that you can put it in your trunk, etc. if you're not using it. HTH:)

    We went with the Britax Regents. They can be in a five point harness until they reach 80 pounds.

    We have the Radian 65 seats as well.

    Britax Marathons(in my car) are good till 65 lbs. We also have cosco Alpha Omega three in one (in the expedition) which go up to 100lbs, They are really nice and are easy to use.

    Do you have roundabout or marathon? Roundabout is 40, but Marathon is 65. I'd probably consider the Marathon, but you can get more ideas at the car seat forum at http://www.windsorpeak.com
