I went to the dr and dr. saw two healthy hearbeats :) He said that bleeding carrying twins is common...
I'm still not out of the woods yet. but he said so far so good.

I'll be traveling Wed. I asked him if it was ak (12 hour flight), and he said as long as I walk and drink plenty of fluid I should be fine.

I lost 3 pregnancies without traveling.... if I stay home I will be more anxious and upset, I'm better off going, seeing family and being
    happy.
He also said not go go by pregnancy symptoms... some women haven them, some don't... I'm int the lighter side... only been sick twice..and that's all...

    Any of you travel????
    .. I"m in my 7th week.

I'm so happy to read this! You must be so relieved. Glad everything is alright and that your doctor helped to reassure you. Hopefully now you'll be able to relax a bit and enjoy the rest of your pregnancy. Congrats!

I travelled at 12 weeks, but it was only 2 hours on the plane each way. I had no problem at all.
As to the pregnancy symptoms, your doctor is right- I never got sick at all, and had hardly any symptoms other than a bit aptetite until the belly started swelling :)

I travelled to Europe and back when I was right about where you are... we didn't know I was pregnant  . Looking back, I know now why the flights were so miserable! (I'm 29 weeks now give or take - we don't know for sure ;) .) As for the symptoms... I had none either or I might have figured out I was pregnant!

I traveled at 10 weeks and was ok. I might even be traveling at 24wks in a couple of weeks. my younger sister is having her first child. I will have to get the ok from my doctor first.

Isn't it amazing to see those little hearts beating? I felt sick most of the time, but only gave in to vomiting eight times thus far (last week I had a close call). Have a safe trip!

congrats. I was thinking about you... I am so glad everything is going great. My dr. gave me a brochure on traveling while pregnant... it pretty much says get up and walk around during long flights every couple of hours and drink lots of fluids due to flying increases dehydration and only fly on planes that are pressurized, unpressurized planes can cause your water to break. At 7 weeks you should be perfectly fine! Have fun with the family.

:hug99: That is good news. I'm not sure about the traveling, but if your doctor says it's okay, then go and be with your family. :hug99: Sending you alot of good pregnancy vibes.

congrats! Sending you lots of sticky vibes to keep them stuck!

As for travel, it isn't something I've done during either of my PGs. Just don't over do it and you should be okay, right?

Glad everything is looking good. You are one of the lucky ones who doesn't have to deal with a lot of morning sickness. I traveled when I was 19/20 weeks. We drove from Western NY to Southern NC. It was a long drive, but we made frequent stops and stocked up on water. My feet definitely swelled more than they ever had or have since, but it was worth the trip. I would definitely go if you have your dr's blessing. Have fun.

I've traveled while pregnant. At your stage it shouldn't affect you too much. I just flew back from Maui a few days ago and it was challenging. I wore compression stockings to prevent blood clots and swelling, drank water or ginger ale, got up to pee and stretch a lot. The biggest challenge was walking to the gate, of course it was the last one on a long terminal!

Hope everything continues to go well. I travelled several times. I travelled back to the States from Europe at 5 1/2 weeks (didn't know about the twins yet at that point). We also went to the West Coast from Chicago at 17 weeks or so and I made a transatlantic return (in business) when I was 24-26 weeks pregnant. I had very uneventful pregnancies.
