I learned I had TOO many clothes even for twin girls. I'm only buying sleepers and sleep-n-play outfits for the boys the first 3 to 6 months. And, I'm definately not buying as many!!

Oh my gosh, I have the same problem!! We are swamped with girls clothes! Like, "I don't know how they will wear all of this a respectable amount of times before they grow out of it" swamped. How crazy is it to be complaining about such a blessing lol.

I felt the same way with my DD and she was only one! I saved everything and it is boxes, and boxes and boxes of stuff! I have sold some and am going to donate the rest!

I was happy at the time that I had so many options because that meant I could push off laundry.

Haha! I completely understand! The nursery closet is FULL and that's not including what is in their dresser! My mom went a wee bit crazy in buying clothes for the babies, these are her first grandchildren so needless to say she's super excited! I don't think the twins will be able to wear even half of what they have, lol! I'll be either passing the clothes down or consigning them once they out grow them.

I still occasionally have this problem. Especially of its not a favored outfit

I found out the very sweet ladies at church are having a shower for me. I'm not hardly buying anything until after that. I will buy some sleepers and some white t-shirts that I like but will otherwise wait. I will make a last minute run to Carters before they boys get here.

I purposely didn't put many clothes on my registry b/c I already had so many from my mom and marshall's niece gave me a bunch of hand me downs from her sons. That's great they're having the baby shower for you. I obviously went out and bought the babies home coming outfits, omg, they're ADORABLE!, and I went to a consignment shop and got some of those gowns that have the elastic at the bottom, mom had picked up some for both Adalynn and Jackson but I picked up a few yellow ones so both the babies can wear them. I swear I'll be shopping the kids consignment shops around here for a while getting play/bum around clothes .... SO much cheaper and some of them still have the tags on them.

If you have a once upon a child in your area they buy and sell so you don't have to deal with consignment per say

These are my first and I was getting a little nervous but I've had two friends (one with a girl and one with a boy) both give me giant bags of clothes NB - 9 months. I won't be getting anything myself but sleep sacs and socks. I have gotten a few really cute outfits from friends as gifts but not too many. I'm sure they will grow out of the 'fancy' outfits really quick and the used onesies/clothes sets will be perfect for everyday wear.

I will have to pay it all forward after my twinkies get bigger :).
