Anyone know of anything bad to put in home made baby food (besides nut and honey)? I have been making my own baby food. I used asparagus as one of the items this last time I made it. WOW that really makes my dd's pee stink. We keep changing her diaper swearing she is poopy and it is just pee. So I will be holding off on the asparagus for years until she is potty trained and can immediatly flush that smell away! So it got me thinking is there anything that is bad for a baby to be eating. Besides the affects of smelling pee.

Thats a great site! I used it too when making my own food. There is a list on there of no-no's.

Thanks for the website. I have been feeding her strawberries, I am glad I looked. No blood relative of mine has any food allergies except me. Every couple months I find a new food that I have an allergic reaction, too. So I am a little freaked to give the "no no" foods to my kids. Thanks again.
