Well, the boys went to 2 hours of preschool Thursday and Friday. Jacob being a charmer and social person pretty much took to it fine.

Noah on the other hand is leary of strangers. He cried off and on Thursday. Especially since the mom's of his little class wanted to say hello to the twins. They are only in a class of six so I hope the mom's get out of wanting to awe over twins soon. Friday, we went and he did not cry and he played. The only time he cried is when he saw DH and I go in to get them and mom of a classmate wanted to talk with him. (You thought she would have learned from the day before to let him be ;) )

So, I guess the adapting has begun. Next week we are going to up the hours to about 4 on Monday and Tuesday, 5 on Wednesday and then full days from 7:15-3:00 on Thursday and Friday. I just hope that they will keep adjusting well with a couple of more hours added everyday.

They also did their first "art" project yesterday which now has been matted and has an honorary spot displayed in the house. (You would think it was a Monet :D ) I am looking forward to all the activities they will be doing. Since it is a school...they will have reading time, art block, outside time, play time, "school" time working on colors, numbers, animals, shapes like we do at home.

I guess easing the wee ones into preschool is more like DH said "it is not for the boys to adapt they will be fine....it is for you to learn you do not have to cry every morning you drop them off." Let's just say the crying was less yesterday even though I missed them desperately for the two hours they were gone.

    Melony,
I hope it continues to go well for the boys. I know you will be feeling better about it too. That is a good idea that you are starting with a couple hours and then increasing it little by little! Keep us updated on how it goes!

It actually sounds like they did great! Give it a little bit of time, but I am sure they will be fully adjusted in the next week or two. :hug99:
