Okay I have seen this so many times here and it seems to be really important but my doctor has never said anything or made a big deal about. My twins were born 4 weeks early. I was just wondering how important it is or not important? Yes, my twins are almost 5 months old but I seem to learn something new everyday!

Not a big deal at all. The only time it comes into play, is if your babies are behind in something. Technically you would have a months leeway before it became a concern. So for example, if babies were supposed to crawl by 9 months, but your babies didn't crawl until 10 months, not a big deal :)

Okay that was my understanding but I wanted to make sure. Twins are a whole new playground after having 3 singletons!

It's definitely a new experience, I've got 2 older singleton's! But my oldest was born at 36 wks, same as the twins, and actually spent more time in the NICU than the twins!

I think at 36 weeks, a lot of doctors don't really adjust their age. I agree with Danielle, you know that you can give them that bit of extra time if they are late meeting one of their milestones.
