I gave birth to my girls this past Wednesday via c-section! We are all doing well, and the girls are great. Adira (Twin A) was 5 lbs, 9 oz at birth and Lilah was 5 lbs, 2 oz. They seemed small to me, but everyone said they were good sizes for twins, even at 38 weeks. We're back at home and trying to get into the swing of things. We thought we wouldn't need/want any nighttime help, but boy were we wrong! Our parents are here for a couple more days, so my husband at least can get some sleep at night when I am up feeding. Thanks to everyone in this forum for all of your encouragement and help during the pregnancy
Congratulations!!! If someone wants to get you a big gift, I HIGHLY recommend getting a night nurse, at least for a few nights. We were very fortunate to have our whole community pitch in for a night nurse and I could not be more grateful lol. You will feel like a new person and it will give your body a chance to recover.
