Addison's biopsy

was FINE!!!! they called it reactive hyperplasia (sp??) - her body must have really reacted to something - a scratch, virus, UTI??
we don't know?? but what we do know is that she does NOT have cancer!!!! Thank you Jesus!!!! I feel like the weight of the world has been lifted off of my shoulders!!!! :banana: :banana:

Thankyou all for the thoughts and prayers!!!!! I don't know where we would have been without them!!!

Monday we go back to the ENT for her ears which have remained red through all of this and also to the pediatrician - who wants to see her after the biopsy - but oh my goodness, all of that we can handle!!!!!!!

Thankyou!!! when the dr called me to tell me - the number came up on my caller ID - at first I was SO afraid. Dr. Glasson is such a cool person! she put my mind at ease so quick!! I can breathe again!!! I called her office back to ask what hobbies she has or what foods she loved because I want to take her a special prize when we go back on the 20th - the receptionist says she LOVES candy corn and cats/dogs!! so now I am on a mission to find something special!! any ideas???

Yay! What great news! You must be so relieved. I will keep my fingers crossed that your Monday appointments go just as smoothly.

Maybe you could look for a nice cat or dog figurine/ornament or small stuffed animal (that could be 'from' Addison). Or how about a nice cat/dog picture book; I found this cat one and this dog one which would make a nice set. They have beautiful photographs with quotes on cats and dogs from famous people. Or if you wanted something a bit more unusual you could go with something like this book which is paintings not photographs. Some of them are real-life paintings and some are more like illustrations or cartoons but they all have a story/anecdote to accompany them. I was given this book because of the name and I really like it.

Oh thank god! I am so glad to hear this great news. How nice of you to want to bring a special gift to the doctor. I am sure she will be touched. Unfortunately I have no ideas right now but if I think of anything, I'll let you know.

My heart started racing when I saw the post topic and while I was waiting for the screen to load with your post, and I was holding my breath until I saw that it was okay! And I don't even know you or Addison!!!! I can't imagine what you've been going through lately, but I'm so happy the BIG question has been answered, and boy it puts everything else in perspective, right?!
