[IMG] I'm sorry you're having such a rough time!! The only thing I can recommend is "The Secrets of the Baby Whisperer" by Tracy Hogg. Perhaps it would help you, it did us. I had my DH read it so he wouldn't sabotage my efforts.

More solids never gaurantees a full nights rest. Never go by that.

At that age mine were getting 4 solid feedings a day.

What I did with mine at night was give them meats at dinner time, followed by a bottle, and RIGHT before bed was a feeding of rice/oatmeal. Usually they slept completely thru, but not always.

Sleeping comes from the brain, not from the stomach, that's what I've been told, and I believe it most of the time. The other day my twin girl only had 22 oz (4 bottles) and she did an almost 13 hour stretch ...

I read and reread that book. The thing I never understood is the unspoken assumtion that if you feed baby from say, 7am on and then bunch feedings towards bedtime and add a 'dream feed' they then sleep till the next am feed. Ha! What a joke! all I can say is I hope by 1 they sleep at least a 4 hour streatch or I'm liable to go bonkers!!!!

    I hear you!!!
I'm walking around in a daze here as well. We started solids almost a month ago and a swear my Iris is sleeping worse than ever. So much for my dreams of uninterupted sleep. And like you I've read the baby whispered do the cluster feeding in the evening as well as the dreamfeed and still no sleeping through the night.
I guess it will happen when it does but till them I'm going bonkers right with you!!!!
    Lots of hugs.

I read the same thing in HSHHC. I followed this book pretty closely and my girls sleep about 12 hours a night. I love this book, it makes a lot of sense about what is going on with them.
