My 8 month old was breech until 2 days before birth. I was scheduled for a c/s but had him vaginally. The nurses told me to stick the earphones to my cd player in my underwear all the way to my crotch and turn the music on loud... and the baby(s) for some reason turn toward the music. We played my DH's CD and a Kiss CD, my boy is definitly going to be a drummer now. Anyways, it worked. I intend to try that again this time. Right now baby B is head down and baby A flips all over..Im anxious for our level II on January 11 to see how they are.

my kidos keep flipping too. baby A was breech, and b was head down, then both head down, then A head down and B breech, and now they're back to both head down again! maybe that's why I'm always in so much pain? I'm a human enclosed trampoline!? lol!

I'm pretty surprised they have flipped twice this far along too. maybe they'll do it again so you can have the delivery you want?

good luck. thanks for sharing your cool/surprising story.

Not only have mine flipped a bunch, but they have changed sides! Anyone else had that happen? I'll go in and tell the NST lady that B is on the right, they'll do the test and when I go to the u/s, B will have moved to the left, etc. This has happened several times! My poor girls are going to be dizzy from all the twisting and turning! The sonographers have been totally confused every time I go in. If the weights of the two weren't so different, they might have had them confused all along! My doc says he doesn't see it much, but that it might be due to my membrane running horizontally rather than vertically - allowing them to roll over each other! Isn't that crazy?

I'm totally trying the headphone trick too, if i need it. Also, a while ago someone posted a link to spinningbabies.org (I think it's .org) - which has some really interesting techniques for getting babies into the correct position for a vaginal delivery...

I didn´t know the headphone trick - souns funny! [IMG]

Did you know the one with the pocket light, you move the pocketlight slowly from your upper belly downwards, and maybe the babys see the lieght through your belly and follow it with their eyes? That sounds similar.

My Ronja was long breech, and I tried everything before she finally moved vertex - I really can´t say which trick helped, or if she just made it herself, but I had her vaginally and at home, just as I had planned.
