So this started about two days ago...by the end of the day my ankles and upper feet feel like they're throbbing they hurt so badly. I didn't even do anything all day today because I'm sick!! Is this normal and have you found any relief? I was thinking maybe a tub soak?

    Oh, I'm so sorry!
I just put my support hose on, elevated my feet, and put a little heat pad on them and right now they're better, but when I get up they start to hurt again.

I am going through the same thing with the ankles, upper feet, legs and hands. Not only do they swell but they hurt and itch. A tub soak does help me a bit as does putting my feet up.

i dont know about cures, but my knees ache badddd and im only 8wks preg. and only gain 4lbs...i dont think my body is gonna handle extra weight very well. i'll trade all the pain in the world to know im gonna have 2 healthy babies.

I know that my feet, ankles, knees all hurt at the end of the day now, but I'm also carrying 40lbs more than I'm used to. I do find that my ankles itch something fierce and I'm going to ask the Dr about that tomarrow.

i don't have "cankles" yet, but my hands/fingers sure get sore and swollen!

as for the ankles, we alway put our legs up the wall in my prenatal yoga class to help combat the swelling and/or make it feel better. can you try that? sit next to the wall (leaning against it) and then swing your legs up so they go up the wall and you're on your back. if being on your back is uncomfortable, you can prop it up w/pillows and cushions and stuff.

just one of the many joys of a double pregnancy!

ps: i posted about san diego to you in my other thread. i love the place:)!
