    Hi ladies,

Well here I am again because it always seems like I am freaking myself out. With 4 miscarriages in the past, I cannot believe I am even this far. I am 14.5 weeks and had a u/s on Tuesday. Everything was good. Babies were moving all around. Today is only 2 days later and I am already nervous soemthing is wrong. I have been having some weird pinching in my abdomen along with random shooting pains. Today now I have what feels like an ovary pain on my right side more but left a little too. Has anyone else experienced these type of pains? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!

Always check with your doc for sure, but the pinching shooting sounds like round ligament pain. Sort of a stabby, charlie horse type feeling in the side and lower abdomen. Happened to me if I moved the wrong way, or too quickly with my twins and with my last singleton. It may be this. Just remember that you have the right to call the doc for EVERYTHING that concerns you. :grouphug:

It sounds like round ligament pain to me, too. But certainly do call your doc if you are really freaked- it doesn't hurt and gives you peace. :)

Oh, how I relate to your anxiety! I can honestly say it gets easier. For me, after I popped I started worrying less (not never but certainly less).

In terms of the physical feeling, I echo the comments of others. Always check to be sure and put your mind at ease. That said, it certainly seems like these things are a part of pregnancy, esp with twins. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks ladies. If I don't feel better I am going to call the doctor. Its nithing thats constant, just comes and goes. When did you all pop? I am 15 weeks tomorrow and I def have a little bump but nothing significant at all!!

I popped early but my boys were #'s 3 and 4. I knew quite early on, 8 wks, that my clothes were getting snug, found out that week it was 2 and was clearly showing at 10/11 wks. I was huge FAST :escape:

definitely sounds like round ligament pain, I had it one day last week where it hurt so bad every time I stood up, but when I sat down or laid down I was fine. I still haven't really popped (18w4d), although I'm definitely showing, I think it started being really noticeable about 17w. And this is my first pregnancy so I guess it takes longer to really pop out.

I agree that it sounds like round ligament pain and just the feeling of everything stretching in there. I am just over 12 weeks and have started having to be careful not to cough while lying on my back and have to be careful rolling out of bed or I get very painful pinching feelings in my stomach.

As for popping, I am much smaller this time around with twins than I was with my son. It's very weird. I have a very tiny pooch but it just looks more like I'm carrying extra tummy flab than two babies. By 8 weeks with my son (an IVF baby), I was so bloated I couldn't wear any of my pants and had to buy a bella band and bigger pants. This time (which was a frozen embryo transfer), I'm still in my regular pants at 12 weeks and they are pretty comfy.

I guess all of that is to say: you'll pop when you pop! Everyone's pregnancy belly is different--even for the same woman with two different pregnancies.

Has anyone ever had lower back pain? Today I woke up and feel this weird lower back pain. Definitely no unbearable, just achy. Its very low and feels like the same pain in my lower abdomen. I did some lifting last night, I am wondering if maybe this is why?

Kristen, it's likely from the lifting if you feel like you overdid it a bit but keep an eye on it. Sometimes low back pain can be a sign of contractions (not to frighten you, if it is that it's very likely just Braxton Hicks). I would take it very easy today, lay down if you can and drink lots of water.

I have had several rounds of low back pain that have definitely been related to overdoing it (too much walking, standing, etc--and, really, what I'm doing is not excessive by any means, but is apparently excessive when pregnant with twins). It goes away if I am able to lay down for a while and hydrate. And mine has felt achy and almost a bit like I have cramps each time as well.

If you are excessively worried, it is perfectly fine to call your doctor and explain what's happening and see what s/he says.
