Well, I was just wondering if anyone else was experiencing strange symptoms?

I have noticed that at times the skin on my face, neck, chest and at times arms feels extremely hot, burning even. It drives me nuts. I do not remember feeling this in my first pregnancy.

Another thing that is bothering me is headaches. They usually accompany the above mentioned symptom.

The last thing that is definately the worst, is that I seem to have developed Restless Leg Syndrom. I feel like getting up and running when I have been setting at my desk too long or when I am trying to lay down at night.

If anyone knows of anything that might help these things please let me know. Also, if anyone else has strange symptoms not mentioned above please let me know about those too. :)

I think many of the ladies here can give a here here to the headaches and the restless legs. While i have heard that a pregnant lady is considered an alien and doesnt fall into the category of normal human being, a twin prego lady is an alien from a completely different universe. i have had so many aches, pains, twinges, itches, you name it this pregnancy that is all been considered "normal" i finally threw my hands up in the air. Good luck!

I use to get the headaches but not anymore unless I am really tired. But I do have the restless legs and they keep me up until all hours of the morning. Lol! And according to my doctor everything is normal and nothing I am experiencing is out of the ordinary for a twin pregnancy!
Good Luck to you too! And if you do figure out how to get rid of the restless legs let me know! Lol!

LOL.... I feel your pain. I used to have more headaches and more of the restless leg thing, but it has lessened some. What I get now are weird pains along my spinal cord! Very bizarre. It feels like someone is pulling a nerve in my spine, right in the middle of my back. Not the lower or upper, but straight in the middle. It hurts so badly!

So, I agree with Agentplatypus, a twin pregnancy is TOTALLY out there and different. LOL.

Restless legs had been driving me *crazy*, but they've lessened now that I'm taking an iron supplement. There's some new research that suggests that RLS may be caused by anemia. Since pregnant women are almost always anemic to some degree, and with twins even more so, it helps explain why we are so likely to have the problem. So, you might ask your doctor about an iron supplement as a way to help with the RLS.

Good luck and hang in there. RLS is one of the weirdest side effects of pregnancy, but it has real consequences by inhibiting sleep, which we kind of need!
