My Allison just seems to get the blunt of accidents around here. It's been like this since she was born. Maybe I jinxed her when I gave her the middle name of Grace, I don't know, but bless her soul, she just seems to get the worst of it, and most of the time it hasn't even her fault. Just in the past two months she's been stung by a wasp and on three different occasions stung by a bee. She's not a clumsy child, she just seems to not have the best of luck some days. Please tell me I'm not the only one with a child that seems to just find bumps and bruises wherever she goes!!

That would be my Emma! Only she IS clumsy! I swear she can just be standing there and fall down! I cringe when I see her running down the street, because I know what's coming! Funny though, she is pretty tough, and most of the time she gets up, brushes herself off, and says, "I ok Mommy!". :)

Aww, poor thing!! I was a very clumsy child and my mother's nickname for me was Clara Clutz. Still, it sounds like Allison and I are similar.

My girls take turns being the clumsy one so I'm not sure yet who will be the worst.

We have one like that. From 3 weeks old when she fell out of the sling (I caught her with my foot) to a couple of months later when the cot collapsed on her, every few weeks or months something happens to Tal. It's not really that she's clumbsy, but more a combination of bad luck and not paying attention (she's a bit of an absent minded daredevil)

I would deffintly say that I have one that gets hurt more than the other. But some of it is induced? Its not on purpose just cursity at this age I guess. Just a couple months ago we were at the ER getting mulch taken out of her ear!!! Why she stuck it ther Im not sure? SHe also the one that gets the splinters and she has had a piece of glass in her finger. So I think we all get one??

This would be my Jazz. I call her my blond child (both are almost strawberry blond now). She is constantly coming home with bruises usually all over. She to is just a bit absent minded.

Oh this reminds me of my poor Dani. She is clumsy, mostly because she's delayed with gross motor. If anything is going to happen, it's going to happen to her. I can count at least 4 times she got bopped in the head this past weekend. Once was when she came into the house and slipped in some water, she fell back, her head hitting the floor was so loud I thought she might have cracked it open, then she got knocked in the head by a lawn chair, got in the way of a flying shoe and then her dumb mommy elbowed her in the forehead. :vava: I forgot to add this morning she was climbing on some books, slipped and split her lip on the coffee table. If DCPS were reading this they'd probably throw me in jail.

 Allison...and meet Kevin! He is my accident prone child. He is very agile but he just seems to get into things, and the next thing you know, he is covered in skinned knees and skinned palms. :( I think it's the energetic kids in the world!
