I was in the restroom yesterday with my DD and a lady was in there with her infant in a stroller and toddler in the stall. She left the baby in the stroller (she was in an infant seat rear facing). Well she had lots of bags wrapped around the handle of the stroller and the stroller had too much weight on it, so it tipped over. And the baby rolled out. :woah: She wasnt buckled in. The baby was screaming, but she was able to be calmed down. I dont know who was more upset the baby or me or the mother. It was scary. So, you might want to buckle them in when you put them back in there or not put too much weight on the bars. I know I have put all my kids back in unbuckled when they were so small.

Yikes! I know I used to leave them unbuckled too until I discovered one time that Jake wasn't buckled in after a 30 min car ride home! I cried for hours!!!

Good reminder, Rachel! I've also been guilty of not buckling them in when they were really little.

I had a similar incident where I was done shopping and had the stroller parked outside the van,wWhen I took the first boy out to put him in the van the stroller tipped over because I forgot I had a bag attatched to the handle. I had my little guy buckled in though so he was fine but I did get a lot of dirty looks from people in the parking lot and felt pretty stupid. My little guy didn't even cry so that made me feel a little better.

I bet that was quite scary! :shok: Glad the baby was okay though.
