okay, i'm confused. I ordered that clock that you all talked about last month. it came, it's cute.

but i have a ? that I'm hoping you can answer (any one who has it). How long does the green light stay on? when i can get mine to come on (i'm still learning, it keeps getting in a mode where the green doesn't come on), it's ONLY for 1 minute. not long enough for us. is that how it's supposed to work?

    any advice appreciated. thx.

I don't have that clock...however we did the same thing with a simple green-colored night light hooked up to a lamp timer. We set it to come on at wake up time and we controlled how long it stayed on.

I must have missed this when you posted it, sorry!

When you press on the light settings button on the back there are 3 settings: the first is when the nightlight comes on, the second is when the nightlight goes off, and the third is when the color changes from yellow (night time) to green (wake up time). For example, I have them set at 7:30 PM (yellow light comes on), 8:30 AM (green light goes off), and 7:00 AM (changes from yellow to green). We sometimes change the third number on the weekends to 7:30 AM in the hopes of keeping the kids in bed a little longer, but they still woke at 7 AM anyway and got restless, so I leave it at 7 AM now all the time.

We tell the kids, once it's green they can get out of bed and play in their own rooms, quietly. Sometimes it workes, sometimes they are thundering down the hall. Some progress is better than none!
