About Belly buttons

Hi there, Just wondering when peoples belly button popped. I have been waiting patiently for the onslaught of stretchmarks and the inevitable popping of my belly button - but neither has happened - as yet.

Just wondering how many weeks you were along before your Belly button popped and has anyone made it through without it popping?

 

I'm just a few days behind you and my belly button popped about 2 months ago! I've also noticed a couple of stretch marks over the last week or so. Nothing major yet but with so much time left, I assume my belly will be covered with them by the end.

Not sure why mine popped so early though? I'm measuring about 7 weeks ahead right now so that may be why.

I'm 22 weeks and I have plenty of stretch marks (but I had a few before pregnancy) but so far my belly button has not popped.

 

My belly button never popped and I have very few stretchmarks. They are just a few at my hip area but they are very light and not too noticeable.

I think stretchmarks are pretty genetic.

 

Mine did not end up popping out.

Mine never popped. It got flush and when I coughed & laughed it protruded slightly, but it never was an outie!

 

Mine never popped, it just stretched out so it was this HUGE hole and my skin was numb in that area which completely freaked me out. :icon_eek:

 

Mine never fully popped out either! I have lots of stretchmarks though!

 

I think my belly popped about 3/4 of the way around 22 weeks. It has now completely popped in the last month. No stretch marks yet though, thankfully.

 

I'm waiting to see if mine pops! Originally, pre preggo, it was shaped like a capital T. (and pierced!)

Now it looks like someone is mooning someone out a car window. That's right ladies, I have a butt, complete with two little round cheeks, sticking out of the spot where my belly button used to be!!!

 

Mine popped out completely by the 24th week.
Come to find out; I developed an umbilical hernia due to the pregnancy!
(got it fixed when the lads were about 9 months old)

 

Thanks for asking this question! I was wondering if mine would ever "pop." It never did with my son, but I am a LOT bigger this time around. Guess there are still a lot of us out there with innies!

 

I'm 24 weeks and mine popped about a month ago. I think I have a shallow belly button though... It was an outie until I was about 13 years old.

 

Well, my belly button may belong in the Genius Book for the deepest inny, pre-pregnancy, I mean when you stick your finger in it would swallow almost to the second nuckle. It's really deep!
Anyway, with my son it popped at about 7 1/2 mos, this time I think it was about 20 wks with the belly. But I do have to say that now @ 33 wks if I hadn't had such an inny I'd have strech marks up the wazoo, knock on wood, right now I have none. The 7 daily layers of oil and cocao butter is hopefully helping. But my belly button is almost to the point of flattened out and there isn't much skin left.

Mine is flush too. I had a piercing that I took out 2 yrs ago and that scar was completely hidden in my belly button now it is 1/2 inch above it and looks red and weird. Ahh, being young an thinking that everything you do to your body is awesome. Oh well, hopefully it goes back to normal after this. LOL

See, I'm the opposite--I miss my piercing a lot and can't wait to get it re-pierced when my abs come back!!! I told myself that after my first post-baby marathon (which admittedly, will probably be a few years off) I'll get it re-pierced. Just an incentive to get the body moving again post-partum.

 

Mine never popped with my son, it did just flatten out, like others have said. This time- it has popped out already- I still can't believe it- at 23 weeks!!! I had surgery to have my gallbladder out after my son- and like others have said- it was hidden inside my belly button like piercing scars are- and it is out side and up about half an inch too!

 

Mine still hasn't popped, but some days it looks like it could and then settles down again. I also don't like the way it feels-it almost makes me want to gag! It started out as a huge cavern when I 1st got p/g and now is pretty flush with my belly and dark! YUCK!

 

Mine never did w/ my other two pregnancies...so far, it still hasn't yet! No noticeable stretch marks yet!

 

I remember my friend being pregnant and showing me her belly button and i thought that is really cool lol (i know i am quite sad!) So all the way through my pregnancy i waited and waited for it to pop and it never hapened i was so disapointed <_< x

 

for like the past month my belly button seems to be confused. like, does it want to pop? does it not? it kind of closed up and looks like it wants to come out, but isn't sure :lol:
