Abby Rose and Ellie Rae are Here!

    Abigail Rose and Elizabeth Rae were born on May 26th, 2008 at 8:33 am and 8:34 am, weighing 5 lbs. 9 oz. and 5 lbs. 11 oz. They were both perfect and had no breathing issues at all and came back to recovery with us. I was scheduled to have my c-section on June 2nd, but they moved it up a week because Abby was measuring a pound less than her sister. Goes to show you that u/s are not accurate. I was 37 weeks exactly the day they were born. They are doing so well. I mastered tandem nursing in the hospital and I'm still doing it. I had to stay an extra night in the hospital because of my blood pressure. It went sky high after delivering them. They have me on meds and are ok with my readings, although they freak me out. They've been in the 140's/90's. I guess it's very common and should go away any day now. Other than that and some pain, I'm doing better each day. I had a major panic attack after getting the spinal, so the c-section wasn't the best experience, but it's becoming a distant memory. Luckily, I had the most amazing nurses in the world at the hospital and they kept me sane for the 5 nights I was there. I don't think I would be tandem breastfeeding without them. These girls are so amazing and now I couldn't picture just having one. Good luck to everyone who is still expecting. Having twins is the most amazing experience in the world.     YAY!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! :birthday: SWEET GIRLS!!!

    they are beautiful!!!!! and oh let me tell you are SO right! Twins are SO AMAZING!!! and let me tell you! the older they get, the more AMAZING they get!!! just when I think I have seen the sweetest thing EVER!!! they do something even more awesome than I could have ever imagined!!!! aren't we SO lucky!!!!

    I live in Middletown! Loved the pics in Newport! (OMG and FENWAY!!!!! LOVE that place!!!)
