A year ago today..... (long)

I knew I was pregnant, but I never dreamed it could be TWINS!

I was feeling pretty yucky all day and I began spotting in the afternoon. I eventually started having bright red blood so DH and I went to hospital because I was afraid I was miscarrying. Instead we got an ultrasound with 2 strong hb's and the news we were 7 weeks 2 days along with twins! I didn't actually find out about the twins until very early on Dec. 14th. What a Christmas present!

The nurse at the hospital suggested a twin website (which doesn't work, still!) and I spent a few weeks trying to find a place where I could talk to other moms who were expecting twins. Finally I googled "twin chat" and found TS! I hung out for a day reading all the posts I could, then decided I liked this site and that this was the place for me. I chose the name Her Royal Jennyness because I felt soooooo sick and yucky and wanted a name that would make me feel better.

So, to sum up the last year - found out I was having twins, found TS, morning sickness from H***, survived 36 weeks of twin pregnancy, Sean and I survived 6 days in the NICU, we all survived the first 3 months (somehow), became a TS moderator , and now they are 5 months old teething and learning to sit!

What a year indeed, Jenny!!! Well, I'm glad you found us and that you are now OURS!! Mwaaahhhhaaaaahaaaa!!

It's hard to fathom where the time goes!!!

Isn't it amazing how much life can change in a year? i've been thinking back as well these days.

What a journey! I too was remember a year ago in Oct was when I found out I was having the twins. And I am thinking back to last year I was preggo.... It is fun to remember!

Thank you for sharing your story! My husband and I were just talking last night about the day we found out...January 12th. I was 18 weeks and started spotting and they did the us and there my 2 boys were! It was wonderful! I was going to school at the time and after 6 years of working full-time and going to school at night, I graduated 12 days before they were born. They are such blessings to me! I am so thankful every single day for these two miracles.
