Im usually not a sweaty person down stairs. But I have noticed during this pregnancy that Ive become one.. TMI :) lol Just while sitting once in awhile Ill get sweaty!!! Anyways yesterday morning I noticed while still in bed.. I wasnt even hot or anything that I was damp down there.. I felt it to see what was going on and it was actually running down towards my butt... All day nothing else like that. But If I touched down there it was a water discharge rather then a white.. Then today I was wet not sure if its discharge or sweat now!!! Even more TMI I touched down there, like right at the hole and it was a clear discharge so that cant be sweat from the hole.. I put a pad on to see whats going on but how will I know it its sweat or watery discharge.. Does it even matter if its watery discharge???? Can you have watery discharge at the end when out it being amniotic fluid?? Should I go get checked??

Im 35 weeks, fraternal twins, schedule csection on August 4, dr told me that baby A has dropped. Starting yesterday Im getting pelvic pain like it feels like I was trying to do the splits! bowel movements 2 or 3 times a day. What do you think should I be concerned?

If it was your water broken it would be a lot more than a little trickle, but I don't know if it's possible for your amniotic fluid to leak. I am all around more sweaty when I'm pregnant, I don't know why. When is your next appointment?

I would give your doctor a call, it can't hurt and they can put your mind at ease... maybe bring you in sooner for your appointment. :good:

you can have a really slow leak with amniotic fluid. the way i knew my water broke with dd is i would lay down and be ok then when i stood up i would leak a little, maybe a tsp MAX. i had a slow leak then when they checked me it completely broke. i would say def go in and get checked out.

I agree with pp...give doc a call. Our 'twins class' instructor said that the flow if amniotic fluid after water tearing or breaking depends on mom's position and position of babes...and if in doubt...call because an infection after water breaking would just suck.

I'd say you should get checked and know for sure. Being pregnant sucks in this regard. I was so sweaty that I know what you are talking about- not being sure what that was! For me it was sweat and, ok, probably a little bit of urine leakage (oh, TMI!). But if you think it could be a slow leak, go get checked.

Ok if I touch the hole it is clear too.. Is that normal? Should it be white?

I was also really sweaty all round and down there when I was preggo, and also prob had some urine leakage to like a pp!! :) I know I also had increased secretions that were clear, not white. That being said, I would totally call your dr. and get checked out. You're at the point in your pregnancy where it totally could be a slow leak of amniotic fluid, in which case you should be seen!

GL and let us know what happens!

I am soooo sweaty down there...yuck. But it is more in the groin area, like where my thigh meets my body...My water broke with my DD at 29 weeks, and I almost didnt go in to L&D because I just thought I was urinating myself a little bit at a time. It is not like you see on TV or something where it was gushing out. I would DEFINITELY get checked out, there is a simple test they can do to see if it is your water. You and your babies may be at risk of infection. Keep us posted

I am literally experiencing the SAME thing. Just damp all the time, not sure if its sweat or fluid. I had an appt today so I mentioned it, she checked me, and it was not amniotic fluid, just an increase of cervical fluid, and she said it could be just normal for the pregnancy, as you progress you get more cervical fluid, but she decided to take a swab just in case it was the start of a yeast infection, but she hasn't called, so I am guessing just a normal increase in cervical fluid. Good luck, hope it is the same with you, but from what you described, is exactly what I am having, no smell, clear fluid, just damp all the time.

Hope you guys got checked out...This was the exact thing that happened to me. I would leak only in certain positions and mine wasnt white. It was clear and it was amniotic fluid and my water had broke. Good luck to you guys!

I had tons of "wetness" down there while pregnant. I often though that it might be amniotic fluid, and it never was. My OB said that increased discharge (and I mean a LOT!), and very different than the type you are used to is all verrrrrrrry normal and one of the lovely joys of a multiples pregnancy lol.

Still though, if it's new for you, I'd get it checked out so that you can get the official "ok" that it's normal for you.

I would gey checked. It could be a slow leak, and with the pain you're experiencing in the southern region, it could be something starting. Good luck

I have a good friend who leaked while in the hospital on bedrest. She thought it was urine and didn't mention anything to the nurses or doctors. It was a few days before they noticed it was amniotic fluid.
