 I find this so sweet that I just had to share...

Last weekend my son Tripp got a bad stomach virus. It started Sat night. Well, Sun evening Brooke started acting a little sluggish and clingy, and I just knew she was going to be sick that night. We made it through the night and the next morning (Mon) everyone seemed to be doing better, that is, until Tripp vomited breakfast all over me :bad: . The rest of the day he was miserable, and Brooke again acted very lethargic, not eating much and even gaging sometimes when she ate. So Tues morning I take them to the dr (I had been emailing back and forth with her the last couple of days). Tripp does indeed have a stomach virus, but it looked like he was almost over it. As for Brooke, the silly girl that she is, the dr said she is being a true twin... she is having sympathy pain  . There is nothing wrong with her, and apparently she is just mirroring her brother's misery! :rotflmbo:

Of course, Tripp is feeling much better, as of yesterday afternoon, and Brooke hasn't had one gagging episode since! :friends:

I guess it shouldn't surprise me, as we have noticed her doing that since we brought them home. They would both be in their swings, and Tripp would start crying. If we weren't coming to his aide quick enough, Brooke would literally echo his cry. As soon as we comforted him, she was all smiles  .

Awww, such a sweet story, well except for the part about the stomach virus :(
I catch my girls doing the "twin thing" sometimes and it just makes my heart melt!

Glad to hear that Tripp is feeling better and that maybe Brooke's mind is at ease now. ;)

That is cool (not the virus thing) you know what I am talking about. I haven't seen anything like that with my boy/girl twins. It would be cool though!

You are right, it is awful! Tripp and I came down with it the same evening, and my DH got it the next night. Brooke is the only one who escaped it. I guess since she faked having it, the virus thought it already got her :p .

Hope your family is feeling better soon too. It seemed to last about 48 hours here ;) .

I love it! We've yet to experience any special "twin" things.
