a picture to share

I've posted before about my favorite time of day being our morning cuddle time after their first bottle in the morning. This morning the cuddle time came to an end because the girls were getting hungry. I put them in the Pack N Play together while I went to get bottles ready. I wondered why they weren't fussing because I knew they were hungry. When I came back to get them, I found them like this.




They were both asleep. Annelise (on the right) was sucking her thumb and Karina (on the left) was sucking on Annelise's fingers. I guess Annelise likes to share! They were so cute and the picture doesn't do it justice at all.

Awwwww! I remember when my boys did that in the hospital in the days right after they were born. So sweet! We're lucky to experience moments like those as twin moms!!!!!!

 

Mine are hardly ever together like this because they were in separate isolettes/cribs in the NICU and they have to sleep in different cribs now because they are elevated and in slings because of their reflux. So I hardly ever get to see moments like this. I try to be sure they get to lie next to each other a little bit each day.

Mine never cuddled like this but the other night Laney was giving us a hard time going to sleep she finally stayed in her room and I went to check on them and she had taken her pillow blanket and favorite stuffed animal and layed on the floor next to Riley and fell asleep. So So cute.
