a new milestone

As if we needed any more proof that DS is ALL BOY: he has just discovered that there are holes in his nose, and that his fingers and thumbs fit in them. He sticks his thumb in his nose when he's nursing (and then has to unlatch because he can't breathe!). He sticks a finger in his nose at the table. He even managed to stick a crumb of tofu up his nose at lunch.

I know I shouldn't encourage him, but it is just so funny it cracks me up every time! :lol:

I remember my brother used to suck his thumb and put his index finger up his nose, like that was what his nose was for... to hold his index finger! ardon:

ROFL - although, gulp, i'm embarrassed to admit that my little GIRL stuck hers up her nose the other day and thought it was the most hilarious thing. Pink dress notwithstanding.....

 

Too bad we're on opposite coasts, Jordari - our kids should meet for a nose-picking summit! Love at first sight! :lol:

My girls haven't discovered their nostrils yet, but probably will just as we are taking pictures at their birthday party this saturday! EW cake up the nose!

 

I have to admit....

That's how my girls learned to point to where their nose was!

They heard so many times "Ellie/Searra...get your finger out of your nose!" That now, they decidedly know where their noses are! :rotflmbo:

And our newest thing....they've got umbilical hernia that are slowly but surely getting better, but when they're running around in their diapers, they like to push it back in! Ey yi yi! But, they can show me where their 'buttons' are!!
