a new comment

So I was shopping in Target over the weekend and this guy (probably 50ish) walks around the corner and says "Hey! I'm seeing double". I actually laughed because it was just so original. I can't believe in eight months I haven't heard that one before. :laughing:

 

That is VERY clever! I have never heard that one, either!!

Funny - DH and i were running through walmart the other day for babyfood and with two carts, we rounded the corner to the juice aisle. When we made it around, i heard a lady laugh and say "what are you talking about?"....then the man we had just passed up said "I asked you if i was seeing double...look!" he said and pointed to the boys who in turn laughed and pointed to the lights (newest thing we have learned). We got all of the normal comments and then he continued with "well, i guess now you know how them babies are made - you will be sure not to do it to get twins again huh...." and being pregnant and due in November I said "Ugh, well i heard that alcohol makes you pregnant and I'm not a drinker but we're due again in november so maybe you should have given us that lesson a few months ago.." and walked away. He turned away saying "when (blah blah blah - soemones name) got pregnant, i prayed that she wouldnt have twins because she didnt need two kids..."
Sorry to steal your post but i thought it was funny that i had just had that comment too...after 10 months, we hadnt had that before.

 

I had a man in his 60s tell me recently that I had "won the lottery." I loved it! It's nice to have positive comments.
