A new addition to the bedtime ritual

After all the hugs and kisses, after I say "night-night" and walk out, Amy has to call me back in the room one more time.... so she can stick her finger in my ear. Then she is happy.

LOL! That is the funniest thing I've heard! Mine call me back in a few times because Ian has to be kissed serveral hundred times and Evan needs a kiss and a high five but the finger in the ear is the best.

I'm assuming she won't want to stick her finger in the babysitter's ear. She doesn't even seem to want Daddy's ear. Last night I happened to leave the room before him -- I went off to the kitchen and he came in a minute later and said "Amy wants you -- she's saying something about 'Mommy's ear.'"

I think she happened to do it one night recently and was amused by my reaction -- I said "That tickles!" and then, when she stuck her finger in her mouth, I said "Yuck!" (She doesn't stick the finger in her mouth anymore -- I guess she learned the first time that earwax does not taste good at all.) It's not like she digs around in there or anything -- it's more of a token gesture.

my son gets the same kick out of sticking his finger up my nose before bedtime - however he doesn't call me back for it :laughing:
