Does anyone have a "Mini Crib"? If you do, do you like it? I'm thinking about getting 2 because supposedly they don't take up much space, and we are VERY spaceless (in a small trailor). I know I could always just have them sleep together, which they have been & are still right now, but they wake each other up all the time. I'd really like to seperate them.. Any thoughts on this?

I don't have one but I looked at them at BRU a few times and was seriously considering getting them. The only reason we didn't was because we found full size Graco cribs on sale through walmart.com that were actually cheaper than the mini cribs and I just couldn't pass up a good deal in good conscience. :)

I loooove our Delta portable minicrib. It's a cherry color and matches our sleigh bed perfectly. I bought it while pregnant and found it on Craigslist in excellent shape. At least one baby slept in the minicrib in our room until they were 5+ months old. Once they were both STTN they were in their own regular cribs in the nursery. But we nap our boys in separate rooms during the day, which is why we still have this minicrib. Previously my mom came to our house to babysit the boys, so this minicrib still got a lot of use. The boys started daycare a couple of weeks ago, but I still can't part with this minicrib, even though it is now only used on weekends for naps. Since it matches our bedroom furniture and doesn't take up much room I don't mind it being in there at all. Now if we had an PNP in our room I would probably get rid of it, LOL. I just really like how our minicrib looks and I love that you don't have to bend over so much to put a baby in it, like with a PnP.

If you are tight on space and what to sleep your babies in separate cribs I say go for minicribs! But I wouldn't buy the DaVinci Emily minicrib because they are $200 each, and you may only get another 12-18 months out of them. I would go for a cheaper Delta minicrib. They are plenty sturdy and have 2 different positions, plus they are portable so can easily be rolled into another room. Keep in mind I think most/all of these minicribs come with 1 inch mattress pads so you'll want to upgrade those to at least a 3 inch mattress pad (our used one came with a 3 inch mattress pad that the original owner bought).

    GL!

ETA: I think you can find 3 inch mattresses at BRU for around $30 each new.

One of Rachel's (Sullivanre) twins busted both of their minicribs when he was playing in them. (He broke one, they fixed it, then he broke the other one. Now they both sleep on a mattress on the floor.)

    They sell stackable cribs too.
