All right ladies, I am having a bit of a rough time emotionally (I think its my birth control), so I am going to sit here and write down all the things that I love about being a SAHM of beautiful twins.

I love when my kids smile just at the sight of me and look for me when I have walked away.

I love to make them laugh.

I love when they laugh and play with eachother.

I love when they sleep through the night [IMG]

    I love their little bottoms.

I love giving them baths and watching them play in the water. DD rolled over the other day so she could stick her hand in the baby bath tub and splash in the water [IMG]

I love watching them learn new things. DS is starting to get his knees up under him and scoot around the house like and inch worm. DD talks to her raggity ann doll.

    I love when DD squels.

I love when they want to cuddle skin against skin.

DS gives me open mouthed kisses and pants when he gets excited.

What do you mom's love? Venting can be great but I think this works better.

    I love...

when they chase each other around the house in their walkers.

when I go in their room in the morning and they are both smiling at me.

the way Emma scrunches up her nose and snorts at me!

their laughs, especially when they laugh at the same time or at each other!

the way Josh kisses them all day long.

they way they crawl all over each other and don't seem to mind.

    HAVING TWINS!! [IMG]

Thanks, this is a great post! [IMG]

What a great post!! We all need one like this every once in a while. [IMG]

    I love:

The way everything is a new adventure for them
How small their little toes are
The feel of little arms wrapping around my neck
The sound of their cackling when I tickle them
    Their total innocence and goodness
Babysoft skin after baths and lotion

    Well, just about everything!! [IMG]

I'll start from the morning and work my way to the evening.

I love to listen to the boys talk to their big brother in the morning.

I love that they are super thrilled to see me when I come in to get them.

I love that they are super thrilled to see me return to the room after I've left it. (Look it's Mommy, she left 3 minutes ago, and now she's back!)

I love that they grin at me while I change their diapers.

I love that James loves getting baths.

I love that Sean is scared of the bath and clings to me for dear life. He knows that Mommy will save him.

I love that James tries to steal Seans toys. I love that Sean has figured out how to keep his toys from being stolen by James.

I love that James tries to put Sean in a headlock. I love that Sean has figured out how to keep James from putting him in a headlock.

I love to watch them play with each other.

I love having twins. I have 2 babies! [IMG]

I love watching them eat their Cheerios. They pick them up so delicately, and get a look of wonder just before they put them in their mouths. I never knew that Cheerios were so exciting!

I love that Sean drools and pants when he gets excited. He kind of reminds me of his dad that way. [IMG]

I love that when I pick them up they hug me so tight.

I love that they kick and squeal when Daddy comes home and cry until he picks them up, they love their Daddy.

I love that they laugh and talk to each other in their cribs before they drift off at night.

This is a great thread, we all need to focus on the positive every now and again! [IMG]

I love when I turn their highchairs toward each other they scream with excitement at each other...

I love that my daughter will have a "big" brother to look out for her someday...

I love that my son will have a "big" sister to beat up the girls in the neighborhood for him...

I love the squeaks, squeals and coos

I love when my daughter catches sight of the cat and screams at him, and he comes up to her to be "petted" (more like grabbed)..

ahhh the giggles when I blow raspberries on their tummies...

    hmmmmm what else?

    Great post!!!!

I love the mornings; what is better then two smiling wiggly babies when I slowly turn the dimmer light on in their room and then look into their cribs. They know I am coming and they always have a smile on!

When their dad sings the one song that he sang when they were in my stomache. It is the only song he sings that they go nuts over!

When they achieve milestones. I never thought I would almost cry when I saw that first tooth! WHat will I do when they walk!

WHen they see me walking into the room

Watching their reaction when the wind blows at their little face

when they splash in the tub

I love that Nicholas is now taking toys from Seamus. For so long it was the other way around! We began to say that Nicholas was Semaus' toy box.

I love the peacfulness of the house when they are taking naps! (Can you tell I dont have any other children)

I could go on and on!

I love this post too! So precious!
    I love...
when they're nursing, but pop off just to look at me and smile

when Timmy has as many fingers stuffed in his mouth as he can, and then tries to talk through them...

The way they light up and go crazy kicking when we put them on the changing table...

The way their daddy gets them to giggle (he's the funny one I guess)

The way they look with their goofy joker hats on...

The other night after their bath and we held them in blankets on the porch and watched a storm roll by. They smelled soooo good!

I LOVE when they smile and talk to each other! It's awesome!

    I love:

    The way they smell

    Their feet

    Their tiny little clothes

The very sound of them in the house...their coos, squeals, jabber, even their crying sometimes.

The way their 2 year old brother holds his arms out to them to hug and kiss them when I get them up from a nap and the way he puckers up to kiss them at bedtime.

How soft and squishy they get right before they drift off when I (very rarely) get to hold them at bedtime.

Their little round tummies after a good meal.

That my DD sits back and evaluates every situation so solemnly while my DS fearlessly ventures into the unknown(the hallway, the rooms down the hall, what the dog's barking at...just anywhere he can get to)

The way they crawl around after me around the house. Even the way they sometimes cry if they are crawling to me and I have to go the other way.

Their raspberries (except when they're eating!)

My husband says he loves they way they greet him in the morning when he comes out of the bedroom. They get SO excited. Kicking, squealing, laughing. It is so beautiful to see them with their daddy.

I also love the way they say Da Da

What a wonderful post this is! Thank you so much!

I love how they pop up their heads in the morning and say "Hey" when I walk in the room - as if I didn't realize they were there - and then giggle and shreik when I say it back...

I love how they can't be apart from each other for one minute, and have to play lying on top of each other always w/the same toy...

I love how they crawl at me from across the room, saying "mama" the whole time and climb into my lap...

I love how they do their best to make each other laugh when they are sitting in their highchairs waiting for food...

I love how no matter how worn out I am at the end of the day, I just can't wait for them to wake up again so I can be with them...

Thank you - this was a GREAT post [IMG]

I love their little individual mannerisms while they breastfeed. Luke wraps his legs around my arm, very excited to eat, and Anna is a little dainty princess who "tickles" my tummy and likes to give me smiles. When her daddy is around she will pull off and stop eating until he looks and her [IMG]
