    Hi all...

I just had to post a funny that happened the other day at our older son's baseball game.

The girls were all bundled into the stroller, matching pink blankets, pink sunbonnets, and flowered outfits.

So, this lady from the other team says to my hubby...Are they twins? He promptly replies, no they were just born on the same day. She then says..that happens you know. Then asks if "the boys" are goiong to play baseball when they are older. My hubby again replied that "the girls" will probably play softball..but as they are only 4 1/2 months old..it's a little early to say.

OMG...people are sooo stupid. here's your sign!! LOL.

Lately I find twin comments made to us get more dense.

I don't get dumb comments ... where are all these people? What i get are people who try to touch them. Just last night we took the boys to dinner and as we are walking through the restaurant people smile and point (we had them in matching sweater vest outfits) and one lady reached out and grabbed a foot!

I did find out something interesting about pink and blue... and why some people (especially older people) would think pink=boy and blue=girl.

Apparently prior to WW2 it was not uncommon for boys to wear pink (which is a light red, and red was considered a fierce color) and girls to wear blue (being a more subdued color an similar to the color of the Virgin Mary's robes). After WW2 pink meant girl and blue meant boy. I dunno, maybe people are stuck in a time warp.

That is pretty funny. You just really want to say "DUH" to some people. We even have pink and blue car seat covers, so when they are in the snap and go besides thier outfits, their car seats and blankets are pretty much gender specific and people still ask what they are.

Got one yesterday from a nurse...a nurse!! I have b/g twins and she asked if they were identical...guess she missed a few days of class :) My response back to her was..Well, I believe they could be but I'm not sure...maybe I'll get a test done.

Ya know I will actually have people arguing with me about the fact that they are twins if they aren't matching. Even if they are both in coordinating pink and purple, or yellow...but she's not in pink, she doesn't match, she can't be a REAL twin...

    Ha!
