A funny comment

Today me, my daughter and the babies were running errands and stopped in to grab a bite at a fast food place. We're sitting there eating (with the entire place staring at us) and this elderly lady comes up and asks if they are boys or girls. I tell her boys and then she looks at us and says "my daughter has TWIN boys!" :rotflmbo: I just looked at her and said "well that must be neat". I guess she thought one was mine and one was my daughter's or something. :laughing:

Hee hee, that reminds of a time when I was a mere 22 yrs old (looked 18 maybe) and I was taking my infant son shopping. A lady walked up and complimented me on how handsome he was then asked if I babysat my little brother often. I told her that he was my baby and she said, "Oh, well you are doing a good job for someone your age." :laughing:

 

My husband has this conversation in the mall the other week, no joke:

Stranger: Wow, twin boys!

Husband: Yes, twin boys.

Stranger: This one looks older.

Husband: They're eight weeks.

Stranger: Both of them?!

Husband: Yes, they're twins.

Stranger: Born on the same day!?

Husband: (edging away) That's usually how it works...
