I bought (shocking, I know!) a little bath tub pack that had crayons and finger paints and the tub coloring tabs. Well.... the official word on the finger paints is DON'T BOTHER!!! The consistency was different with each of them. It's incredibly hard to get them out of the tubes and you can't ever get ALL of it out - so there is waste! The crayons are a little hokey as well.

I do LOVE  the color dots that make the tub water colored (they don't stain!!)

This concludes this edition of Crayola Talk, with the Crazy Lady!

What kind of Host would I be if I didn't provide links... These are the tints for the tub - WE LOVE THESE!
Don't be fooled by THESE!!! With those you need FAR MORE tablets in the water to get the color to be any fun!
    Here are the finger paints!

The PENS did fairly well, but the red doesn't wash off as easily as the rest of the colors.

LOL..you are funny. I actually don't like the Crayola Wonder Paint. The paint is really hard to squeeze out of the tubes. It says for 3 and up but there is no way a 3 yr old is strong enough to squeeze it out.

We have some tub crayons (brand unknown... came in a pack of tub toys) that they love and they wash off of the tub walls easily. I was thrilled UNTIL they colored on the caulking with them. It won't wash off of the caulking! I've scrubbed, I've bleached, I've tried baking soda, ammonia, vinegar, super-hot water... nothing works. When the crayons are dead, I'll have to pick a time when we can be without a bathtub for at least 24 hours and remove & replace the caulking.

I was disappointed with the finger paints as well. They don't even "paint" well whether or not you put some on your finger and try and paint on the tile/fiberglass, or even if you try to draw using the tube itself. Yeah, they pretty much suck. :)

Oh bummer I was longingly looking at those at Target the other day thinking they'll be fun sometime in the future! DARN!

We got the little crayons for beginners. It's like a big round handle in the shape of a ladybug with a crayon tip sticking out of it. They both bit the tip off. I was frightened while digging crayon tips out of their mouths and then quite disappointed when I just threw what was left of the crayons away!

Same here. And apparently the crayon tasted good because they were oh so mad  when I took them away and pulled the bit of crayon out of their mouths!!

Ooo, maybe my kids are old enough for Tub Tints now? My niece used to love them.

We do have bath crayons (can't remember if they're Crayola), and they get on my nerves because you have to keep them in the little plastic holder to use them, but they fall out constantly. We also have semi-permanent stains on our tub from someone writing extra hard (or from Mommy & Daddy not wiping it off until a few hours later). They do go away with bleach, but I don't bleach the tub on a regular basis. I don't think it will ever come off the caulking, but maybe it will fade by the time we want to sell the house.

Ditto on the Wonder Paint too. We have something similar (again, different brand I think) and I could barely squeeze it out myself. My kids got frustrated and gave up within minutes.

So far, the only things they've been really happy with (at home, at least) are regular crayons, chalk, markers, and dry-erase markers.

We have crayola ones that wouldn't stay in the holders, I threw them out because I was tired of putting the crayons back in!! THey work fine w/o the holders. We use them almost everynight - I'm glad we don't have any tile/caulking!!!

The other thing my DDs love is bath confetti - little colored flakes of soap in fun shapes

I couldn't even get the paints out of the tube when I bought them. What a big waste of money! I agree! They are horrible!

Oh, my girls LOVE those! We got them in a party gift bag a couple weeks ago.

But I despise any of the write on the wall bathtub products. What a mess!

Never done the tub crayon/paint. However, I did buy Emily the color tabs and she loves them!!! They do not stain either, but work really well with coloring the water.

Tadoodles! I threw them out! They had a hard time coloring with them, and do much better with a regular crayon.
