A bit of excitment last night

I went out last night to the mom's of multiples meeting, and I wasn't there more than 20 min when my husband called. Apparently Noah and Josh took a good header into each other and Josh got the worst of it. He ended up with a bloody nose that was swollen and bruised immediatly. Josh threw up right after. I ended up coming home and bringing him to the ER. They don't think it is broken, but can't tell for sure. They wanted us to follow up with an ENT Dr. Well, lucky for us Josh has his ENT appt tomorrow for his post op (PE tubes). So that timing went well. He sure looks like a sight, but is in pretty good spirits. Whew, the joy of boys!!

 

I'm glad he's feeling okay! Hopefully everything at the ENT checks out fine.

OMG poor little guys! I hope they heal up well. Take a pic to show them later on! I know it sounds weird, but dd loves looking at her battle wounds from when s he was little.

Anyways, we saw the ENT today. Josh's ears are great since his tubes. Yeah! He did will with his earing test too. Now, onto his nose. It looks a tiny bit better today, but Dr. Karlen was a bit concerned. He wanted me to bring him back in about 5 days or so if it doesn't get any better. He doesn't think it's broken, but it's possible he has a hematoma (basically a collection of blood) in the tip of his nose. He may have to drain it if I doesn't improve. So here's hoping that all turns out fine. I think it will . . . poor guy has been through to much this year (hosp in Jan for pneumonia, multiple ear infections that required IV abx or IM Rocephin, PE tube surgery and now this), so I have to think that this will resolve it's self!! We are going to be so broke after all of these bills!! Oh well, thank goodness we have health insurance so it won't be nearly as bad.
