    To everyone here who's been so supportive and helpful - even when you didn't know it because I was lurking or taking strength from your posts without adding my own - THANK YOU! I don't even want to imagine what it would have been like to struggle through this hard and wonderful first year without you all.

    Thanks to everyone for the lovely birthday wishes in the weekly post! Attached are a couple of before and after pictures from our little lunchtime celebration today. Nothing fancy, just enough gooey frosting to make us smile.
