9 Month Appt Today

Jake and Hailey went for their 9 month appt today, albeit 2.5 weeks late. But they are doing so good!

Jake is 24lbs 1oz, 30.5 inches. He's in the 90% for weight and 95% for height.
Hailey is 18lbs 2oz. She's in the 25% for weight and 97% for height.

If she keeps this up, she is going to be that tall skinny girl that everyone hates! hehe ... Her mom was definitely NOT that girl.

Otherwise everything is going well. We got the ok to basically feed them anything except shellfish, peanuts, whole milk and honey.

I'm so excited to start giving them what we are eating. The Italian in me is excited for them to try their Mom's meatballs for the first time! And of course my homemade sauce!

But the other exciting big news is that Hailey got her ears pierced!!! I was on the fence about doing it now, and waiting till she was like 8 or 9. But i decided to go ahead with it. She's doing great. They don't seem to bother her at all. I even was twisting them before when she was having her bottle, and she didn't seem to be bothered with it. I'll have to post a pic soon.

We got some pictures done at Kiddie Kandid this weekend, because I got a gift certificate at my shower when I was pregnant and it was about to expire. Unfortunately, my kids aren't the best as smiling! but some of the pics came out cute. You can see them here.

I wonder that everyday! I can still remember posting on a.i.preg just a year ago, and we were both big with twins and having lots of contractions and wondering how soon they would make their appearance! Now here we are chatting about pulling up and feeding them "real people" food ... where the heck did the year go!!!

I bought those onesies at Babies R Us. They did have some cute twin ones, but I liked those the best. I couldn't find them online, but I found them in the store.

And yes this time last year was crazy.. contractions, procardia, terbutaline, so many trips to L&D, being house-bound, being hospital-bound.. and having nothing to do but chat online

Not so much anymore! Now my house looks like a toy store and I can't even remember what my living room looked like without all the toys!
