9 month appointment coming up

Can't believe we're almost 9 months! Anyways, I just wanted to know if there are typically any immunizations, etc at the 9 month appt? I guess I could just call the pedi and ask, but I was on TS, so I figured I'd just ask you ladies! I haven't had time to read up much on all the shots/autism/etc stuff, so wanted a little time to decide if I wanted to proceed with their shot schedule...

Not a typical "shot" appt at 9 months.

 

No shots at 9 months BUT we have our 9 month appt on Nov 15th and my two will be getting the flu shot.

 

Doc told us at 6 months that there will be no shots at 9 months! YEA!

 

We had no shots at 9 months, enjoy it!

 

I could be wrong but I thought my dr office said 2, 4 , 6, 9, & 12 month appointment. Maybe not though. No one else is getting shots at 9month appointment.

No shots. We just did the 9 month appt. on Friday. We were offered the flu shot, though, and took it. I was hoping for thimerosol free, but they didn't have it, so they got the regular one. They need a booster in 4 weeks. We are traveling all over the US in December, so we decided it was smart to do it.

 

no shots, but ours had to get blood draw to check for anemia and lead (we live in an old house and i think it is state law here). i think that was worse than shots! :icon_eek: ihope you dohn't have to do that!!! i think they thought they were being mortally wounded. they weren't. :winking0009:

we do get a blood test to check for iron and lead.

 

We had a blood test scheduled but when we got there the pedi said she would do it at thier 1 year appt. Other than that they just had a flu shot!
