Just had to share with those who understand :)

We had an ultrasound today and both babies still have heartbeats! I've been very worried about losing one or both of them because I have a subchorionic hemotoma. The SCH seems to be shrinking. It's still there, but Peri says it looks like old blood now and is very small.

It almost looks like the babies are squishing each other. That's not possible, is it? They are both in their own sacs, but they hang out right next to each other (cute!) and in the pics it looks like they hardly have any fluid around their bodies, they are so close. Baby A had a HR of 170, and B a HR of 156. They are both measuring 8w6d. It's neat that we can finally see that they have heads now, lol.

:silly: That's such great news! I'm not sure about them being so close, but maybe they just really love each other? :)

Yes, they really love each other. I'm not sure about them being too close but I'm sure the doctor would have said something to you... besides that, I'm happy everything is looking good.

That is wonderful news. I am so happy for you! I had my 10+wk today u/s , so like you I was also nervous if they would both be there. Your babies have such good strong heartbeats. Great news!!

Congratulations! I was worried about both of them being there too so I know what a relief it is to see them both safe and sound. Best of luck to you!

That's fantastic! I hope everything continues to go well!

I am so happy to find this forum. I am only 7 weeks along with identical twins and am so nervous waiting in between appointments to make sure they both are ok. Does anyone suggest seeing a specialist instead of my regular OB before the end of my first trimester? I go back to my OB at 10 weeks for another ultrasound and check but every time I have a slight cramp or spot(brown blood) it makes me so nervous. google can sometimes be an evil thing. :)

    Good luck with your babies.:)
