8 Months old today!

Okay remember me?? (used to be brianamurnion) Anyhoo.. just wanted to brag a little about making it to 8 months in one piece!! LOL The girlies are doing so great and are really just a joy to be around! Ashley is.... CRAWLING!! And Alyssa is not far behind, scooting a little. Alyssa has TWO teeth!! They are sleeping through the night until about 4-6am and then they eat once and sleep again until 8am!!! WOO HOO FOR SLEEP! They love love love their solid foods and are starting to self feed finger foods... I will have to attach pics of the messes they make!! We are down to about 4-5 nursing sessions a day so Mommy is getting a bit of a break once in awhile! DH and I have yet to make a night out for ourselves, but it is on the horizon!! I am so happy this month, but now I know it is going to get crazier because they are MOBILE!! YIKES!

I also want to drop an encouraging word to you mommas who are just starting to about 4 months in to this... IT GETS SO MUCH BETTER. For me anyway, I am now loving every minute of being a twin mommy and have put those colic/reflux days far far far in the back of my mind. BUT looking back it now seems like such a short piece of time. So HANG in there mommies and daddies!! Thanks for letting me share/brag! I am going to attach one of our latest and greatest photos!!

Cute pictures! Congrats to you! We are in the same age group, and I too am loving my babies; love how different they are with their little personalities emerging.

Though I am hating the teething thing and having my sleep affected...

THANKS FOR THAT! I have a screaming baby right now! AHHH!!!!!!!! OK, I'm back, my hubby got her. Just when you think they are finally asleep I needed to hear that ... cute pics too! I live in Durham, NC ... my hubby works at UNC! HA ... small world!
