OK, so I'm wondering if I am feeding too much? The kids turned 8 months last week. Here is my schedule:

7am - bottle (formula) - average between both kids 6 oz each
8am - solids (yogurt and fruit or veggie in gerber container)
    9am - nap
11am - bottle (formula) - average between both kids 6 oz each
12pm - veggie and fruit or meat and fruit (all gerber containers)
    1pm - nap
3pm - bottle (formula) - average between both kids 6 oz each
5:30pm - solids (fruit and veggie - gerber containers)
7pm - bottle (formula) - average between both kids 6 oz each
    7:30pm - bed

We don't really feed any foods other than the ones in the gerber containers and the Yo Baby yogurt. Should I not be feeding 4 bottles a day? It seems like I'm feeding every two hours...HELP!!!
    THANKS!!

We are feeding 4 bottles a day, 6 oz a piece right now, sometimes 8. We also eat solids three times a day.

I think you are doing fine!

Here are some other TSers schedules.

We are on almost the same schedule but add in a 10pm bottle. I know I need to get rid of it but can't.

Nope sounds normal to me. That is what I was doing, except mine got an extra solids feeding before bedtime. It was usually cereal or oatmeal.

Mine get four 6oz bottles and two solid feedings. Our schedule looks like this . . .
    7:30 bottle
8:30 oatmeal and fruit (sometimes yogurt)
    11:30 bottle
    3:30 bottle
    5:00 cereal and veggie
    7:30 bottle

Hope this helps. The times can vary anywhere from 15-30 minutes.

Here is our schedule....give or take 15 min or so...

    7:30 7oz bottle
    8:30 Fruit/Cereal
    9:00 Nap
    11:30 7oz Bottle
    1:00 Nap
    3:30 7oz bottle
    5-5:30 Veggies and fruit
    7pm 7oz bottle

I'm trying to decide when to add finger foods and lunch.

That's pretty much what we are doing... although haven't introduced meat yet and use all Gerber containers. They usually split a stage 2 of fruit in AM and have one each of veggie for lunch and dinner. My ped said that they should still get at least 30 oz of formula/milk a day. I am glad to see I am about on the same path as everyone else. [IMG]

We're pretty much on the same schedule except Drew doesn't like fruit and Jake is not to fond of veggies except sweet potatoes, we keep trying different things but what they like best is cereal mixed with fruit juice. They are getting 30-32 oz. of formula a day, and Doc is pleased with their progress.

It helps to know we're on track....
