My twins are 7 months today. Like all of us are I am a proud mom. People always ask me I don't know how you do it with twins and a 3 year old. It is just something that I do and I had to adapt to. However, my boys are not rolling over or crawling. They started sitting up really good but sometimes they do fall over. They are eatting but soon I will be dropping a bottle because they just play with it and not want to eat.

I just want to be a proud mommy and share that my boys are getting so big on me.

Happy 7 months!!! I just wanted to say that one of my girls is 6 1/2 months and is not rolling over either. I am sure they will get it sooner or later. Before we know we are going to be chasing them all over the place.

When thinking about milestones, I think it's important to remember that there is a range. My boys, who will be seven months tomorrow, are rolling over and army crawling, but still not really able to sit up too well. I practice trying to sit up with them, but they don't really seem too interested. They want to move, not just sit there. Maybe your guys just aren't too interested in rolling.

All that said, if you are worried, you should ask your pedi next time you go in if he/she thinks it is something to be concerned about.

All my children have done things in their own time. I am sure it is fine! :D

My dd didn't rollover until 8 months and neither of them crawled until 9 months. My ds was on the late side of rolling too, but not like my dd. I even took her to a physical therapist because I was concerned, they assured me that she was fine just doing things at her own pace. Even after she did rollover, she just wasn't big on it. :pardon: I don't think you should worry right now, maybe if by 9 months they aren't showing any signs of rolling over you can talk to your ped. at their appointment. :)

My little ones aren't sitting up yet. They just want to move around.Dd army crawls like a champ. Ds army crawls like a snail.Lol. Give them time, they'll start soon. And then you'll be chasing them all over the house. :D My nephew never crawled and only rolled alittle. He went straight to walking.

We were in the same boat. We ended up having an EI eval just over 7 months because neither was rolling. They failed to qualify for services because they were doing everything else either right on, or ahead of, target. My girls finally started doing it at 7.5 and 8 months. It's hard not to think about it and not to worry. If it really concerns you, call your pedi. :hug99:

Mine still aren't interested in rolling. DD has only done it once. Oliver does it more often but only when he's frustrated or fussy. They both sit great now. I think when you have twins pus other kids you just don't have as much time to sit on the floor and help them learn these things. My ped wasn't too concerned about it. I still sometimes wonder if I'll have to send them to junior kindergarten in their jumperoos!! My older ds was crawling all over the place and pulling up to stand at this age so it's hard to not compare. So, don't worry I'm right there with you!

DS isn't rolling either. DD rolls, army crawls, scoots in short is way more mobile than him. A big part of it I think is DS is more laid back, he's happy to lay back and look around where as DD is a natural born explorer. We had a PT eval for DS for another issue (he has mild torticollis) and she said not to worry about him not rolling at this point, just to keep encouraging him and he'll get it. She did give us some stuff to start strenghening his abs to help, but didn't seem concerned at all. Just think all our kids will walk, talk, and be potty trained by the time they go to school.

    All babies are different...

My twins did things somewhat late, and Katie has done things early. Rolling over at 3 months... sitting at 5 months, crawling at 6 months... she is on a milestone roll!

Congrats on making it to the 7 months milestone. Wahoo!! As all the PPs have said there is a wide range of normal for milestones. Mine did not sit until the end of 7 months-8 months and then crawled at about 9 months and just took off from there. If you are concered I would call the Ped.

Does she spend time on her tummy? I think that they are most likely to roll from tummy to back first. My DD hates being on her tummy and I think that's one of the reasons she's not rolling over.
