My b/g twins are 7.5 months now and I have a few random questions for those with little ones this age or those that can recall these wonderful days.

    1. What milestones have yours reached?

    2. How many solid meals per day?

    3. How many naps and for how long?

    4. What is their bed and awake time?

    5. Any teeth?

Sorry to ask so many questions in one post. I just thought it would be easier and quicker for everyone. Thanks in advance.

    Hey Steph,

My guys had conquered some crawling, definitely sitting.

They are eating cheerios and cut bananas and some meats at dinner.

We usually have cereal and fruit for breakfast, cheerios/puffs or cookies for snack (lunch) time, and veggie/meast mix at dinner time.

Two naps, one morning, one afternoon, varies from 20 min. to 2 hours [IMG]

Currently bedtime is between 7-7:30, wake time is sometimes 5 am!!!! but usually by 6:30.

Patrick has two teeth... Kevin none [IMG]

    Hi there!
my guys were sitting up- Jack better than Paul but both were doing it.
Both were trying to crawl- rocking back and forth- and Jack was crawling backwards.
(now at 9 months, jack is a quick crawler, Paul is quicker! and both pull themselves up to standing)
They ate solids 2X's a day and 4 bottles- still do- but we are now at 3- 8 oz. bottles, 2 meals and two snacks.
they were transitioning from 3 naps a day to 2 naps at 7-8 months- and they varied a bunch- about 3 hours total.
They woke at between 5 and 6 and went to bed at 7 pm.
    No teeth yet!!!

    1. What milestones have yours reached?
Rolling both ways, sitting, army crawling, passing things from one hand to the other, pincher grip. James is babbling and would be crawling by now if we didn't have slippery hardwood floors.

    2. How many solid meals per day?
    2. A breakfast of yogurt and fruit, dinner of cereal and veggie. We haven't tried meat yet.

    3. How many naps and for how long?
They both take 3 2-hour naps a day for the most part.

    4. What is their bed and awake time?
They usually go down between 7 and 8 pm. They wake up between 5-7 am. Depends on how hungry they are.

    5. Any teeth?
No! They have "toaster teeth", they pop out, they pop back in, up down up down, it's making me crazy!

They roll both ways but they really dont continuously roll around on the floor. They cant sit on their own. I can let go for about 5-10 seconds so this is what are next goal is. Socially/Emotionally they are on target...smile, laugh, babble, cry...

2 solid meals per day. I was debating to go to three but after yesterday I am not going to. THey were not as hungry for their 7:00 bottle after giving them lunch for the first time. THey have 4 8 oz bottles a day

3 naps- their naps have been so bad lately. usually 40-50 minutes. Every once in a while one will go for an hour and a half but that is rare.

    4. bed at 6:45-7:00 wake at 6:00.

They both cut one bottom tooth two weeks ago

After reading the other responses, i hope my guys start sitting and army crawling soon!

Sitting up with help. They aren't sturdy enough to leave sitting up without a boppy pillow. They are rolling around and scooting which I believe could be army crawling. Lots of babbling.

They get 4 8-oz bottles a day. They have solids 3x a day. Just fruit, veggie and cereal. We haven't done puffs, cheerios, meat or yogurt yet because I don't think they are ready.

They take 2 naps a day. About 1-2 hours in the morning and afternoon.

They go to sleep by 7pm and wake up by 7am.

    No teeth yet!

My twins are doing the following:
    -Crawling everywhere
-Moving in and out of the sitting position on their own
-Both are pulling themselves up to standing, but one is better
-Passing things from one hand to another, or from one twin to the other
-One says Mama and one says Dada, screeching all the time, especially when they want something that they are unable to reach
-Both are waving hello and goodbye (not really a wave, more that they put their hand up and kind of roll it)
-Two naps- morning is usually a bit more regular and longer (about 1.5 hrs0, afternoon nap is not as long as they need, but their teeth are causing problems by that time, so sometimes they go back down for a 30-45 minute nap
-Two meals a day, sometimes three if I feel like it (all I do is feed someone around here!)
-Eating all the fruits, veggies, meats, cereal, cut pieces of banana, wagon wheels (they feed themselves the pieces of banana and the wheels)
-Wake up is normally 7-730, bedtime is 630-7pm
-One has one bottom tooth and one on the way, two top teeth and two on the way
-One has two bottom teeth and four top teeth on the way
-Neither is really big on chunks or pieces of food...but I tend to mix one #3 jar with two #2 jars, so the chunks are spread farther apart
-Each meal, they eat on average 10 ounces of food
-Wake-up bottle, two naptime bottles, and bedtime bottle
-Unfortunately, with all the teeth coming in, one is not eating as well, so I usually give her another bottle when I go to bed. They both usually want a bottle around 5am...and I usually give in, because they go back to sleep, so that counts as their wake up bottle.

Mine were born the same week as yours, although they were 33 weekers so we're a bit behind on some of the development stuff. But right when I begin to worry they aren't doing something they show progress and begin working on that skill.

    1. What milestones have yours reached? rolling both ways, passing object from hand to hand, reaching to be picked up, sitting really well unassisted for periods of time, but still need assistance for long periods because they are wobbly. They are not crawling or showing interest in that area yet... but they hated tummy time and still don't like to be in the position much.

    2. How many solid meals per day? We do two.

    3. How many naps and for how long? 2-3 naps anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 1/2 hours. If short naps then 3 naps... if longer then 2 naps.

    4. What is their bed and awake time? 6-7 PM down and up around 5:30 or 6:00 and in their swings so they'll go back to sleep until 6:30 or 7:00 when my husband and I think is reasonable for us all to get up.

    5. Any teeth? DS has one tooth, DD has none.

    1. Rolling from tummy to back, one DS rolls from back to tummy. Babble like crazy. One DS said "mama" clear as day about a week ago. He doesn't know what he's saying though. Imitate facial expressions and sounds. Pass objects from one hand to the other.

    2. 3 meals - cereal, fruits, and veggies

    3. Generally 3 naps - 1st and 2nd nap 1 1/2 - 2 hours, 3rd nap about 30 min.

    4. Bedtime 6:30-6:45pm, awake 5:30-6:00 (we don't get them out of bed until 6)

    5. No teeth, but lots of drool!

    1. Rolling both ways, babbling, one is imitating, the other is not. holding two objects at once, clapping. One is army crawling, rocking on all fours and crawling backward. The other hates tummy time and doesn't want anything to do with crawling, but is very close to pulling himself up to a standing position.

    2. 2 solid meals a day plus 4-5 9oz bottles. Solid meals are Stage 3 foods. We've also started incorporating some finger foods like cut up cooked carrots, peas, bananas, Puffs

    3. 2 naps a day anywhere from 20 minutes to 2 hours each

    4. Bedtime is around 7:30pm, wake 6-7am (both sleeping through)

    5. Both have their two bottom teeth
