Ok so my c-section is scheduled for next Thursday and we still haven’t settled on a middle name. I struggled a little with my first DS middle name but not like this.
My husband is set on the first name and at this point so am I, I am just frustrated a little.
His first name is Blake… We have a couple middle names that we have kicked around just cant settle. The ones we have considered are Morgan, Cash, Lane, Steven and my mom has been actively trying to talk me into Dakota.
What do you think? Any other ideas? PLEASE HELP!!!!

Make a list of names & wait until he's born to see what would suit him.

I think it depends on how many syllables your last name has.... If your last name is also one syllable, then I think you really need to break it up with a 2 or 3 syllable middle name.. I always choose my name combinations, in particular the middle name, for how it flows with the rest of the name... the syllables have to sound right. With a one syllable first name, I think most of the time a 2 or 3 syllable middle name will sound best. When the first name has 2 or 3 syllables then a middle name with one syllable might sound better....

I liked Blake Steven the best of those that you mentioned. I think a more traditional name would be best with the name Blake.

    I also like:

    Blake Patrick

    Blake Edward

    Blake William

    Blake Joseph
