I am brand new to this forum, but found out about two weeks ago that I am having twins. We are so excited but I'm also a complete nervous wreck. I've already had a pretty major scare, a subchorionic hematoma. I had a pretty big bleed around 6 weeks and am still spotting. But I went in at 7 weeks exactly and everything was looking great. Both twins were measuring the same size and had strong heartbeats - 129 and 130. But since that ultrasound I have been feeling really good. I have had no morning sickness really at all this entire pregnancy. I get a little nauseous here and there but nothing major, no food aversions, my boobs aren't that sore. I've been feeling so good the past two days that I am actually worried something could be wrong. Am I losing my mind?

    :welcome: to Twinstuff!
I never had any m/s or really anything with either my twin or singleton pregnancy. Some people don't have many symptoms and that is fine. :good: You might be one of the lucky ones. :)

If it wasn't for the ultrasounds, I would have never known I was pregnant. I had no symptoms. Well...heartburn.

No m/s, no food aversions, no nausea, no smelling issues, no cravings, no nesting. Nothing.

I too worried constantly something was wrong. I also had the bleed too-at 13 weeks. Just rest as much as you can, keep off your feet when possible.

Just try to relax in the meantime! I know-easier said than done!

Thanks Amy. I just overanalyze every little thing. We had such a long and hard road to get here and we just want to hold on to these little beans.

:welcome: I did not have morning sickness with either pregnancy. The only real symptom I had is that I felt like I had PMS without ever getting a period, and then major hunger pains! That's it!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! And welcome to the TS family!!!

When I found out I was having twins, I just knew terrible morning sickness would hit! I was SO sick with all 3 of my older singletons!! Twins had to be double right!!?? Well there was one week that I felt sick but when everyone in the house started to feel sick too we realized it was just a virus! I had food aversions with them but no morning sickness. I too had a bleeding episode mine was at 9 weeks so scary! I think subchorionic bleeds are fairly common with twin or more pregnancies. I have 3 older kids and thought I was an expert at being pregnant well, my twin pregnancy taught me SO much!! Anyway, My twins are girls so I thought that since my older ones are boys that I just may not get ms with girls! So when I got pregnant with this little guy, I thought for sure he was a girl because I had some food aversions but no ms! He is a boy so that theory was wrong! I would pay for an ultrasound everyday if they would do it!! I always feel so great the day of an ultrasound and after that the worry sets back in!

I never had morning sickness with the twins. I felt great, not even tired really. They were my first pregnancy though. My next pregnancy was a singleton and I felt tired and queasy and that came and went. Some days I felt good, others more tired, etc. This pregnancy I had m/s kind of constantly and all day from about 6 weeks until 13 weeks and was exhausted. I am finally feeling like I have some energy back and I only get queasy when I am hungry. This pregnancy has been the worst for sure for m/s.
    Congratulations on your pregnancy!

I never had m/s with my son which was my first pregnancy, or the twins, my third pregnancy. The only symptoms I had for Donevan was sore boobs, and tiredness. For the twins, I was just tired, thats it.

Congrats on your twins and welcome to TS!

I always kept a few extra pregnancy tests around for those times when I was doubtful. I had no symptoms other than initial bloating for my 2nd pregnancy. No morning sickness, food aversion or anything. Try and relax. It sounds as if they are doing great along with you!

My yakking didn't happen until about 9 weeks in. But once it started, it never stopped!

    So there's still time. :p

Glad you found us and welcome!!

I cannot believe how much better I feel hearing all of your stories. Thanks so much to everyone for responding. This is my first pregnancy so I have no idea what to expect. My mom didn't ever have morning sickness, so hopefully that is something I will pick up from her.

I would just be saying a prayer of thanks that you don't have morning sickness! There are plenty of people who get through pregnancy sickness free. It's NOOOOOO fun!

Yes, be grateful there's no MS!

I also had a bleeding scare -- starting at 6 weeks until 12 weeks. There were two heavy incidents, in between which was perpetual dark spotting. It was terrifying, and I was always worried I was miscarrying, until an ultrasound would reassure me for a week or so :) Once the bleeding stopped, I felt so much more relaxed. And then, at 20 weeks, when I could feel the babies moving, it was such comfort! Now (30 weeks) there are days I just wish the babies would chill out in there, so I can get some sleep! But I know if I didn't feel them move for a couple hours, that would worry me too. I think for us first time moms, in particular, we just need the reassurance :) Good luck and congratulations!

I had some nausea, but it was really minor. The majority of my symptoms (sore boobs, fatigue) kicked in at eight weeks. So you could be posting this time next week with a whole new set of symptoms!

    Congrats!

I thought that getting pregnant would come along with a boat load of "pregnancy signs" but I was very wrong. If it wasn't for the u/s in the early months, my belly growing around the 16 week mark and the movement of the twins at 22 weeks and then delivering them at 39 weeks, I wouldn't have even known that I was pregnant. LOL!!

I had a great pregnancy...felt amazing..never once got queasy. The only symptom I had was slightly sore breasts....I didn't even feel em move until 22 weeks!
